Oh the Curveballs

Hey peeps,
yours truly has had a pretty good start to the week. Nothing of note worth...well noting. Although I have encountered, what I like to call, a curveball of life. You know what I'm talking about. That little ding in your otherwise regular life, that little bit of, hum what to call it?, little bit of randomness you definitely would never expect. It comes into your life, unexpectedly, and you suddenly find yourself pondering it all the time. What to make of it, what to do with it? Anywho I've got one of those going on, sorry for being so cryptic. Have a splendid week.

Back to School

Hey peeps,
A new year, a new semester, a new bout of homework and listlessly lonely nights...I must be back in Humboldt. It's not all awful, the only good thing about being back is the forest is a-bloom with bright green health. It's been raining like crazy here, which means mud, mud, more mud, and lovely moss that make everything it covers look ethereal. The forest keeps me happy, in as much as it can. Oh, and this new tea I'm drinking, Coconut mango oolong, is amazing. My hands are increasingly dry, because that's what Humboldt air does, dries out skin.
I had a really, don't-care-day, the other day, where it began with me putting my underwear on inside out, and ending with me sleeping with various items (a lamp, a couple of books, the remote, various clothes, a purse, and a couple of pens) in the bed with me. Don't ask how I didn't realize this until the morning, I simply could not tell you. Alas, the semester is alreay getting to me and it's only week one. *blows raspberry* I hope everyone's first week was as grand as mine.
p.s. Did you catch the sarcasm?

Like a Bear aka Butt plugs

Hello Peeps,
Yours truly is winding down the evening, at home snuggled in bed, about to go play with my two bunnies. To say the least, it is the perfect end to the day. I've been thinking lately that I would prefer life as a bear during the winter. I mean bears have it good, they get to eat gobs and gobs of food to get as fat as they can. Then they go into a deep sleep and emerge months later skinny again, just so they can gain all that weight back. Well, now that I'm thinking about it sort of seems like bears have the ultimate eating disorder. Either way, I see nothing wrong with eating berries and honey all summer long. The only problem I have with this scenario is the butt plugs. I mean, I'm not sure how I feel about a three month long constipation. Plus you've got to ingest your own fur, and tons of grass. And I've eaten that grass flavored jelly bean from the Harry Potter jelly beans, and let me tell you, it's gross. So alas, no hibernation for yours truly, unless I was hibernating as a turtle......... ;)

Already Dreading

Hey Peeps,
Yours truly is basking in her hometown of SF, and I never want to leave. It's been an amazing break already, filled with friends, family, my bunnies, and downtime that couldn't have been more deserved. Already school has beckoned me back to it, in dreams of being late to class, and the ever present nagging that we only have two weeks more of this wonderfull bliss before its broken down again into sadness. In a more upliffting note, I am having a blast while it lasts.
