There's a Demon in my Computer

Hey Peeps,
Yours truly was minding her own business on skype last night, when my computer froze. For those of you who know me this is not an unusual occurence. Usually I'll just restart it, however this was an uber-freeze, the mouse wouldn't even go. So, before hysteria could get a good grip on me, I called a friend. Said friend, who seriously deserves a giftbasket for putting up with me, calmly tried to work me through it. Since I'm seriously computer retarded, this is no easy feat. Every question was met with a vague description from me.
Example:
Friend: What model is it?
Me:...Dell
Friend: That's the brand what's the model?
Me:...Dell? All I know about this comp is that I have a Dell.
Friend: (Large sigh) It should tell you on top of the server
Me: The tower thing?
Friend: Sure it should be there
Me: You mean the thing I've piled an amplifier, cds, and multiple other things on top of
My roomie yells from the back: And a trashcan!
Me: The trashcan is just leaning against it, it's not on top!
Friend: Ev, now I'm convinced that there could be other things wrong with your comp with the conditions you've just described
Me: tee hee?
So yeah, that's basically how it went, now I know that my computer should be in better optimal conditions, but I don't have the space for it to be. Also, I'm kind of a mess, in terms of my living habitat. I like to nest, and said nesting happens with my stuff everywhere. I mean you've all seen the picture. It also doesn't help, that every computer I've come into contact with, either blows up, or becomes posessed by a demon who thinks it's funny to screw with me. Either way, said friend is a standup guy, who is truly the computer whisperer. I hope y'all have better luck with your technology.

The Preparations

Happy Monday Peeps,
Yours truly had a very busy weekend, though even though it was busy it still wasn't productive. The above is the pumpkin that I carved on Sunday, for those of you who recognize what it is, good for you, you get ten points. For those of you who are a bit stumped it is Blinky the ghost from Pacman. For those of you who don't know what Pacman is, you can go jump in a lake with that type of blasphemy. Blinky took me two hours to make, with one of those hours being dedicated to scraping out his innards. Also, homemade pumpkin seeds are so much better than store bought.

I also almost saw Paranormal Activity, which from what I've been hearing, should be a pretty frightening experience. Though, then again that's what they said for the Ring, and that wasn't scary at all. Pfft. When that little girl started to climb out of the t.v I had to keep from laughing. Though I do have a penchant for laughing at the inappropriate parts. Anywho, y'all can expect a full review when I do see it. That's all for today, have a great Monday folks.

Way too late to be completely coherent

Hey peeps,

yours truly is back and at 'em with blogging. As much as I enjoyed blogging on myspace, I think that I needed a change of scenery, so I'm trying this out for a while, we'll see how it goes. Let me start by saying, that I have no idea as to why I decided to start this so late, except that I am stubborning myself into not sleeping. (please excuse any and all typos) Instead of I don't know, cleaning my room like I should have been doing for the last two hours, I've been online milling about, basically whittling away the time. So alas, my room looks like a thief came in here trying to find something seriously valuable.

That pictue is basically what I've been wallowing in. Not that I'm complaining, but my roomie's a saint for putting up with it. As it is I'm debating shoving everything under my bed and going to sleep, because I can't hold off Morpheus much longer, my really freaking comfortable bed beckons to me. Sweet dreams peeps.
